Ok SL Family! Its time for a Southern Style SL Meet-UP. Let those fancy smancy northeners have their NYC. Lets have a good ole southern style hoe down or jazz fest.
Especially everyone who donated, conducted events, or were in some way affected by Hurircan Katrina or Rita. That would be a very special treat indeed.
Waves and Tang Lightcloud will be in the Gulf next week and possibly weekend.
17-20 Nov 05
We will be in the Mobile, Gulfport, Biloxi, or New Orleans area. Tell us what you think.

Yes pass your ideas,
put that walk and talk of whats going on down here, where ever it goes down,
we will have at least one cool game. Toss the FEMA GUY, farthest Toss will win 10,000L
and Free nights stay in one of any of the 4 Days Inn’s that are now open !.
Well we were kinda thinking Ashberry Inn for an indoor Pool party, Located in Mobile,AL
cheap nice rooms and maybe cruise down the coast to a few spots and chat with the locals
I’m in Gulfport,MS and know the area well
Throw something out and lets try a Meeting,

WOW where are all the southern gents and ladies? I guess we all are still busy picking up the peices of our homes down here. ):
Ashberry Inn In Mobile sounds good for Wednesday evening. Heading to Gulfport on Thursday.
FYI This past summer we met up with an SL friend in the casinos in Gulfport. He is a captain of a jack boat in the Gulf. Now all will be a bit different this visit, casino gone---jack boat damaged.

Wow, I know Waves and I are goofy nerds and are often ignored by all the normal SL people, but no one from the south??  I ran over to that frapper.com mapping thingy and sure enough --- hardly anyone posted there from the south. I see Lector is, but but but hellooooo out there {Echooo}. Where is everybody?  Sheesh Waves, we may have to run over to Florida and bug Schwanson  |
