I hope you understand that we are very often (sometimes daily) hit with survey requests, most of them poorly put together, most of them either homework assignments or attempts to gather demographic info, and we generally have a negative attitude toward surveys.

> since I started, pretty much

> it depends on which avatar I've chosen for that day. The ice cream cone avatar I was wearing when I logged in earlier looks a lot like me, though.

What are your everyday normal activities on SL?
> building, teleporting, looking for surveys to answer

What do you do for a living on SL? In real life? (optional)
> in SL I don't have to do anything for a living - I have an independent income. In RL, I do various things to support my parasitic SL avatar. Lucky her.

Do you have a lot of SL friends?
> probably fewer than my friends list thinks I do.

What do you for fun or entertainment outside of SL?
>"outside of SL"? I understand all of the words you are using, but I can't seem to make this question make sense.

What are some SL hotspots?
> Some friends of mine once built a really lovely volcano... does that count as a hotspot?

Do you find it easier to socialize in SL than in real life?
> it's a lot easier to find a parking space, anyway.

I don't see that those questions add up to anything you could stick the label "Visual Anthropology" on... but then again, I never heard of the field before this afternoon. Shouldn't you be asking for, or taking, pictures?

Define "visual anthropology", please. I'll use your input for a paper I'm writing on "Hiding Worthless College Courses Under Impressive Names".

Even knowing what it is, the questions don't add up.

I threw up when I got to "semioticians".

So...this is a class in the visual arts of different human cultures?

read: "Television Appreciation". Except these days, students can substitute computer games for sitcoms. Especially if they carry an impressive tag like "social networking".

I only participate in INVISIBLE ANTHROPOLOGY studies...
