Hi, I guess this is a message for th Lindens...

I have a couple of students interested in working with some non-techie students from other departments, in order to collaborate on an SL project. I have read the campus stuff, but wanted to check if UK universities were included and if SL has a minimum number of student participants.

The idea is to float this with a small group and then grow it, with Computer Games students, Fashion Design students, and so on. We want to create - Linden Labs willing! - a fashion show on-line to match the famous (in the UK anyway) University of Wales, Newport fashion show.

Would appreciate your help, and a bit of land...

What are you asking for? SL accounts are free! Do you want a special last name? There is no minimum number of students required to get the educational discount if you want to buy a sim. UK Universitities are welcome, and you guys will be an excellent addition to the community.

Of course I don't speak for the Lidens, but they are certainly dedicated to helping students and educators explore new domains inside of Second Life.

To get an expediated answer to your questions on a more personal basis, email Pathfinder Linden (pathfinder@lindenlab.com)
