I've been working hard on creating educational material for SL, inside SL, however I'd like to know if anyone has had a good/bad experience with putting content on the web and linking it from a kiosk in SL or such. and has anyone used Moodle? ( www.moodle.org)

I have used moodle and it is very cool. Integrating it with SL is definitely a good direction to go in.
On that note, it would be interesting to meet with people who would like to build formal educational programs in SL, including
+ K-12 + Certification, Accreditation courses + Course planning and objective measurement of student achievement + Teacher and course evaluation
My general experience in SL has been that people are interested in hanging out and informally teaching various subjects, but things like full in-world classes, testing, and teacher evaluation all seem to be low priority.
I think that is a shame, as education should be a global, efficient resource where the only barrier between you and full-on learning should be ambition and perhaps an internet cafe.
