TeaZers University presents
CLASES EN ESPANIOL!

TeaZers University is pleased to announce the launch of classes in Spanish.

Alana Carrol who has been working very hard in preparing the lesson plans and materials for these classes along with Maxx Mackenzie will be teaching the Spanish language classes. The very first class is expected to be scheduled this week. Watch for it in the event calendar.

Initial curriculum plans:
(Each of these is expected to be a multi-part offering, each part being a one hour session.)

BEG3 *TeaZers* Scripting en Espaniol
- Introduction to LSL Scripting, progressing into more complex topics.

BEG3 *TeaZers* Animations en Espaniol
- Animations in Second Life using Slat

BEG1 *TeaZers* Building en Espaniol
- Basic prim building progressing into more complex topics.

BEG1 *TeaZers* SL User Interface en Espaniol
- SL User interface for new residents (and experienced) (inventory controls, maps, money, Find menu etc).

If you are a native speaker of Spanish, needless to say you will enjoy and benefit from these classes. Even if you are not, consider taking advantage of this opportunity to look at Second Life and Second Life Education in a whole new light, and pick up a few cool Spanish phrases in the process!

TeaZers is proud to offer these free classes that we think will add tremendous value to all our fellow residents who are more comfortable with Spanish than English.

Thank you Alana and Maxx for all your hard work!!!!

Umm sorry if this comes across as rude, but how can you teach Spanish (Espanol), where you can only teach in text if you can not even spell, Espanol?

I don't speak a word of Spanish, so if I made a mistake that does not speak to the quality of the classes. TeaZers classes in Spanish are developed and taught by native Spanish speakers.

My understanding is that the European spelling is Espaniol whereas in the Americas Espanol is used. Also the correct usage of the latter form (EspaƱol) requires the use of accents, which, unfortunately the in-world event postings and notecards do not support.
