I am updating my notecard for newcomers. I want to include instructions on how to find classes. The card now suggests joining 2 groups, Sledu and eLminata VIP, to get notices aount classes to be taught. I will add Fire Centaur's group, English Village, (English as a Second Language). The note also gives a link to my LOD site.

Does anyone have additional suggestions about finding classes? If you have a suggestion about using Search, please check it before you post it. I have seen some search advice that is out of date.

The notecard is included in a sign at Hobo Infohub. Both the notecard and the sign are for anybody's use. The sign should be free to copy. If it is not, tell me and I will send you a copy.

You can use the search a couple different ways to find classes.

For the first, go to "Events," select "education" from the pull-down and click "search."

You can also go to the "Places" tab and enter a search term like "Class." Keep the pull-down on "Any," since I've seen a few informal classes offered in private residences and in sandboxes.

Thanks to Violette and Palomma. I am including this info in the the handouts to newcomers. The info about PLC is going into a note card. Because I want to accomodate more info than will fit on a note card, I am putting a Brifing Pouch in the sign. The pouch and an intro note will be given to anyone who clicks on the sign. The pouch will contain multiple note cards. If you want to make a notecard with you LM on it, you can send it to me inworld.
