Hi, I'm semi new to SL and am into the building/scripting aspects of it. I've gotten down the building in less than a week and am interested in learning scripting. Right now I'm just buying scripts and placing them on my object but would like to actually script my own scripts. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to sacrifice some time to personally teach me scripting. I'm a fast learner, I just need someone to push me through the open door so to speak. Thanks and I can pay some money, but I'm not rich lol If I learned then maybe I could teach others also.

Same problem here, nobody is teaching scripting.
It's just kind of "Here's the wiki, either you'll get it or you won't"

I would like to see some kind of beginner's guide to LSL, instead of here's the language, go figure it out.

Jeffrey Gomez added a realy, really nice " LSL 101" to the wikki. It's starts at really basic programming concepts, and walks you through the basics. Have a look!
