The last time I checked I was unable to find the page people look at to select greeters from. Is this page visible to people who are already members? If it is not visible to existing members, is there a reason for this?

I couldn't select one - the page was completely blank. One didn't get picked, so I didn't have one, which wasn't really a big deal for me. I just thought it was something with my browser.

It was my understand that a percentage of newbies would be brought in and allowed to select a greeter, not all at this time. Has this changed to "all Newbies" being able to have a greeter now?

Alliez - thanks! I've found most people have been very nice to me and willing to help point me in the right direction, so I'm not too upset about the page not working for me. I just thought I'd post in here since it sounded like it didn't work for other people as well.

The Greeter selection page is only currently available for new Residents, during the registration process. This may be changed in the future to allow everyone to view the profiles.
Morgana - I'm sorry to hear you had difficulties signing up for a Greeter, please send an email to me (jeska@lindenlab.com) with more information so we can investigate the issue. The selection process was tested in both PC and Mac environments.
