Hey

I just signed up and new to a iMac. How do I change my avatar. I keep on getting requests for right mouse click?

Try holding the Apple key down when you click on the mouse. If that doesn't work, use the CMD key.

Hope this helps you,

Isn't the Apple key and the CMD key the same key?

When you hold down the Apple key and click, it acts like a right click. You can also get an USB mouse and use that on you iMac. It will make life a lot easier.

I dropped you a couple of notecards in-world. There used to be a Mac users groups. I assume it still exists. You can join it and they will help you.

You can also buy a 3 button mouse.

The most successful software company in the world does a piss-poor job on all these points. Particularly the first three. Why do you expect Linden Labs to do any better?
Yes, it's true, I have a blog now!

Using a Mac here: use CTRL-click for right-click

But you'll be MUCH happier with a 2- or 3-button mouse. Most are plug-and-play on the Mac, so no configuration required.

Agreed. Apple's Mighty Mouse works great for me. If you can use the wireless version, all the better.
