I've reported this as a possible bug and PM'd Jeska, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this since yesterday's 1.9 upgrade.
I logged off at about 3.30pm SLT last night - bedtime here in the UK. When I logged on at 11.30pm SLT this morning, there were 4 'greet requests' waiting for me, all different times, that had never happened before.
I was just curious as to whether I was lucky (or unlucky) to get these, or whether anyone else got them. My main concern is that my list of 'greets that I've never managed to find, never responded to any of my IM's and possibly never even logged in' simply from my online time is over 50, and the last thing I need is them to be coming in when I'm not even available... it's almost unmanageable as it is.

are you using the hud? I know your offline but that thing is so buggy its not funny. I had this problem before myself before at the start of the greeters back in june of 2005....I got around 5 or more one while offline a few times. Just for a little info from my past.

I did have the greeter hud on at the time, but I took it off last night for the town hall 'meeting' and didn't get any last night. I'm going to put it back on before I log out this morning and see if I get any during the day.

The greeter HUD system is currently off-the-air along with the Help Island sim, unfortunately. And yes...there have been a few instances where IMs sent to you while you are online don't get delivered, but instead get sent to you offline instead.
