Greeter Name List Keeper

I made a [very!] simple list keeper, because I noticed that in delay between person notifying me, and person logging on, I might forget/lose name or crash.

Anyhow, made quick cube to just touch, add name to list. That's it that's all. If anyone wants a copy, IM me, or come pick one up at secondlife://Green/190 /166

Thanks. If people are finding it handy, I would be willing to add some features to it. Just send me requests, or post what you would find useful to add and I will see what I can do.

Also, I have started poking around the greeter on/off button. Working to see if I can figure a hook from SL into it, so you don't have to use the webpage when in-world.

Barring any incidents or me drinking too much while out tonight, I should have a working one tonight, or tomorrow.

So it works. I need some info though, if someone would be kind enough to help. If you are a Greeter, and understand enough to VIEW SOURCE, I am looking to find out if the value of ID - I suspect it changes from user to user, but better to be safe than sorry The line I am looking for is:

You should have a number in there. I don't want to post mine up, cuz it could in theory let someone mess with my status (unless there are additional security checks). But if you could IM me in-grid and I will tell you mine, and you let me know if it matches yours, that would be grand. Or if a Linden could just let me know, that would be nice too. OR you could anonymously send me yours through my webform on maxcase.info ( I will get it as IM, but not know from who).

I also have to take user security into the mix, since you will need to feed it your account name and password. If anyone has experience in that, let me know. (I know it will involve using MD5 func, but until I start poking aorund with it, dunno how long that bit will take me)

Never mind the id, i get that by myself now.

So, I have it working. I just have to make it activated by email, and we're good to go. Probably within the next 24hrs.

So, the basic widget is working. I am just having trouble with encrypting the persons password in SL (the easy part) and decrypting it in the RL.
Naturally, i don't want this system sending people's real passwords over basic email unencrypted. That would be too dangerous
Anyhow, I will let people know once this is up and running.

Suggestion:
How about some kinda way to track if one of the persons is online and send the greeter a message when he is too?
