It is my understanding, which might well be wrong, that new registrants see a page that allows them to select greeters, which shows the info one submitted in their greeter application.

Does anyone have any screen shots of these pages? Or can in any other way show what these pages look like?

I don't know that that is strange. I hear on the mentor channel of folks who can't remember the name of the greeter they picked and it appears that either a mentor who is also a greeter will step up or the liaison on duty says they will get on the greeter channel and find them a greeter.

I don't know how the system works from a greeters point of view, I didn't know about a green notice.

I want to see how the info is layed out on the greeter selection page, and I'd like to see what the greeter's pics look like and what they say they are offering as a greeter experience.

I just heard about Greeter Huds, never even heard of them before.

What do they look like and how do they work?

Well, so far, Sue. They haven't done anything or worked.

They are like the HI Comm Units, except they have a little Icon that looks like a stick figure. It is red if off and green when on.

If we turn it on, our name, picture and data should show up on a board at HI, allowing a new res. to choose one of us as a greeter. If selected, we should get a message.

When we don't want to be in the greeter pool, we just turn it off.
