Somehow everytime I stop moving, I automatically sit down in mid air - How do I change this?!

This sometimes happens when you forget to stand up before teleporting. The easiest way to fix it is probably to just relog. You could also rez a StopAllAnims object, and that will fix this issue too.
If that's not why this is happening, I'm not sure what to say.

One other solution I've found to this is to go back to the place you first sat down at before you teleported...sit again in the same spot, then stand back up.
I sat down on a couch in a store once and TP'd, and had this problem...but when I went back to the same store and sat on the same couch, and then did a 'Stand Up', it worked fine.
