i heard of this wonderful sounding world, it took me 3 months to get here. ................but i can't seem to get in! my computer meets all the requirerments but i'm still lost! i really wish to come joint this fun world! HELP? lol lost in paradise!

Hey Gavi, welcome to second life!
It really does help to describe where you are lost. This is the forums and not the program that you have to download to get into Second Life. Make sure that you have downloaded and installed the program. Today (Wednesday) SL is down for an update. That means that you won't be able to log in until later this afternoon.
Once you install SL, your av will appear on an island. Follow the trail, click on the signs, read all about second life and how to manipulate the program. You will learn how to walk and fly and even fall out of the sky if you are like me! Just saying tho, that I'm a pro at it so good luck!
Many people / other avatars will be close by. Type in the field and talk to them. Ask them questions if you really aren't sure where to go. Most will be kind enough to help and show you some ropes. Take your time, look around, fly around and see what is in SL before you decide to buy anything. There is so much free in world that your inventory will soon fill up in no time.
