just wondering if anyone can tell me what I need to do to view other avatars clearly. My avatar is crystal clear but I see others as bad cartoons even when I zoom on them - no feature on them is clear.

Sometimes this is a sign of a video card with very little memory?
My laptop only has 64meg on it and I can only see a few things with full textures, everything else is pastel colored. But with 256 meg, everything SHOULD be sharp and detailed.
Might be something eslse you are describing, but if your video memory is only 64 meg or even less, then that is the way it will ususaly look.
