Use of grid wide announcements to help Live Helpers

I was happy to see a Linden sending a message grid wide yesterday about the current known issues affecting people's inventories and other issues related to the recent update disaster. I think it was Chadrick Linden. I was Live Helping on the day of the update and there were hundreds of IM's from residents that were very similar in nature, all relating to the asset server. I think Lindens should send out grid wide messages more often so that people know what's up. This will lessen the load on Live Help.

Ingrid, I feel the same way! I logged on and I created an artificial version of a Linden Notice, however it is not grid-wide =(. Its range is 96 meters, but I find it useful when I am managing my sandbox. If you want to toy with this script you can find it at:
