When i try to log in second life comes up with a message saying
"unable to connect to second life. often this means that your computers clock is set incorrectly. please go to control panels and make sure the time and date are set correctly. if you continue to recieve this error, please go to the support section of SecondLife.com website and report the problem.

This forum is for a long defunct group. You might get more responses if you post your message again in the Resident Answers forum or the Technical forum.

That message can result from the date and time being set wrong. Check to make sure the time is correct, set to am or pm properly, and that the date is correct.

You can try turning your entire system off - the computer, modem, router, whatever you have, turn it off for a few minutes.

You can try filing a support ticket as suggested, though that may not really apply unless you have a premium account.

Unable to connect to second life can be a Firewall problem.
Ensure that your firewall(s) are configured to allow SL to access the internet.
Pleas keep in mind that there may be a firewall in Windows, but also in routers which you might be using.

The same applies to SLvoice.
