sl client problem

ive been usen the 1.19 clent since i joined is there a newer cleint for sl and if so were can i get it my current charator is stuck in one reagon un able to teleport to any other regeon


it keep comeing back with unable to teleprot in a timely mannor

1. 1.19.1.4 is the current mainstream client.

2. You can install the 1.20 ( Release Candidate client, available on the Downloads/Test Software page.

2a. I get more reliable teleports using the Nicholaz patch to the 1.19 viewer. Go to http://www.blueflash.cc/users/nicholaz/EyeCandy/ and download the file nicholazEC-f.zip. Unzip it to the main SL directory, and create a desktop shortcut to the file nicholaz.exe.

3. Before you do those things, there are some other things you can try.

- Go to Edit/Preferences/Network and check "clear cache". Close the SL window and re-start it.

- Log in to a different location. Enter the name of some other sim in the entry bar at the bottom of the login screen.

- Reboot your DSL router or cable modem.

Failure to teleport is generally NOT an issue with the client, but with your internet connection or with Linden Labs' servers.
