I'm a sim owner and a business owner in SL.

I'm having an issue with a resident whom has my name as his first name. He has also decided to make an exact replica of one of my products and is trying to pose as me. I recently filed an abuse report, and got an e-mail back saying it was resolved. The indivual that is doing this is still up to his same old games.

Now - he is in violation of the ToS.

"2.3 You need to use an account name in Second Life which is not misleading, offensive or infringing. You must select and keep secure your account password. "

I do believe that someone have the first name that is my full name is a bit infringing. How is it that this abuse report is resolved? Am I under the impression that the Lindens are no longer protecting their residents from people like this? And a sim owner and business owner at that...this is just unreal.

Any advice anyone could give or perhaps someone getting on the horn with a Linden would be great.

Slip - this is by no means an official answer, but if I were in your shoes, and considering you're an estate owner...

I'd get a hold of Consierge Support, explain the situation as clearly as you can, and see if they can assist in easing the communication bottleneck between yourself and the abuse team.

Hope this helps! :)
