sl frozen

When I try to log into SL a window apears reading 'sl frozen ...sl not responding close program'. This has only happend after I downloaded the latest update. Could anyone tell me if i were to un-install sl and re-install, would I lose my avitar and inventory? Many thanks.

Your avatar and inventory are stored on SL's servers. No matter how many times you uninstall and reinstall, or even move to a different computer, everything will be there when you log in.

I'm afraid I have no suggestions to help with the freezing issue itself, but you may get more answers if you post again in the Resident Answers section just above.

1. Uninstall your viewer. Manually delete any references to Second Life that you find using Search.

2. Reinstall the older viewer (you DID save the download, didn't you?)

3. OR, re-download the new viewer and try again.

4. OR, download the experimental Snowglobe viewer from the downloads page and try that.

5. OR, download a third party viewer...Kirsten's, or GreenLife, etc. There are maybe 13 or so independent viewers you can try, you don't have to use LL's.

I have the same frozen problem with sl after downloading the new version and it keep saying that it might be internet connection or server problem but my internet is 10 mb and i don't know if it is because my internet is wireless but i use to have no problem with the old version while using wireless internet what do i do? i m stuck anyone plz help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
