what kind of crashing?
if your connection is lost, the minimap turns red, make sure you arent on wireless, plug in with an internet cable.

if your viewer freezes and crashes, or your computer crashes, you may need to allocate more memory to the program or close other programs.

before logging in, go to the top menu and change your preferences > graphics to low or mid.

try again

I suggest you start a new thread for your troubles in the Resident Answers forum, or the Technical forum. The group that this particular forum was created for was closed by Linden Lab long ago. Keeping this forum open, when the name of the forum so closely resembles that of the "Live Chat" support, defies reason and does a disservice to people who post in this particular forum for help with Second Life.

Information about your computer hardware, operating system, and what version of Second Life you are running would make it more likely for folks to be able to give helpful responses.
