After several hours of trying, I finally sucseeded to log in and got to Orientation Island. I was standing there, looking around, turning left and right but I couldn't move from that standing spot. I turned on moving arrows window and tried to move. Arrows lit but my avatar was still standing on the same spot.
Do I have to do something else before I move?

It must be lag, try relogin.

Sometimes the server loses track of you - you machine gets disconnected from the server. You can usually tell when this is the case if you check the minimap and it looks reddish. The thing to do in such a case is to exit SL and restart.
If this happens too often you may need to check to see if your modem, router, network card, etc.,are working properly and check if there if there is a packet loss problem between your place and LL's servers.

Try rezzing a prim and sitting on it, then standing up, if that doesnt work, relog. And just to do some cleaning clear your cache (Preferances(ctrl P) > Network > Clear Cache > Relog)
