It was brought to my attention by a new resident today that our Live Help Notecard - Making Money in SL as a line that says the new residents earn $200 L for completing Orientation Island stations but it seems that this is not true...
"As a trial user, you start out with L$250, and if you do the tasks on Orientation Island where you start out you can earn another L$200. This gives you up to L$450 to start out in the world. When you subscribe, you will recieve another L$500 at the time that you sign up with a basic membership or L$1000 if you sign up for a premium membership (after your trial period ends, and your membership becomes active)."
Do we need to update this information now that basic accounts are free?

My suggestion: Try to avoid specific info that can go stale when somebody else changes something. Instead, give a link or reference to the authoritative source. TM

Well, the Live Help cards are used by everyone in Live Help, so there has to be a consistant source of information. It just needs to be updated...

Better yet, re-write the card, THEN give it to Jeska.
People don't get a bonus for completing Orientation any longer? I'm pretty sure that I received a bonus in June '04 when I did the Orientation Island Experience.
