Dunno how many LiveHelpers read this forum but hey, I'll talk anyway.
Recently when I turn on I've been getting a lot of "I need to find a red dress" or "I need a script to do this-that-and-the-other". I'm not 100% on how I should handle it, I usually reffer them to the Products Wanted forum, but I was wondering how you all deal with it?
The other type of call I'm unsure how to handle is "how do it work this game/script/attachment", when its not so busy I usually try and ask if it has a notecard with it etc, try and help, but when its busy I usually ask them to IM the owner. What about you?
Just wondering how other people handle such calls..
Thanks!
Zap

I have them use FIND first off and double check to see if the item they are looking for comes up on FIND. If it doesnt then I refer them to the forums.
If its a problem with a object I ask about a note with it if I dont know the object myself otherwise I ask them to contact the creator.

Toy has the right idea, and....is much more concise than I would have been.
I try to get the people to learn to help themselves, not to depend on LH to do all the thinking for them.
