vinod The slides I've seen rez a poseball at the top. You sit on it and slide down. The poseball is, I assume, a physical vehicle of some sort.

it is a vehicle yes, I have a few under construction in my sim. Largely it is just the client physics and setting your prim surfaces to glass, and not plywood, like the defaults. So you will need some understanding of how to script physics. The actual slide is pretty easy, just hollow out a tube or cylinder.
