I have downloaded and installed the game, and re-downloaded and re-installed the game, but I have no sound. I have sound in everything else I use on my PC, but none in SL. I've checked all the audio controls and have even had friends compare their's to mine to make sure my settings are right, but nothing. I have no sound at all. Anyone have any suggestoins?

As the sound subsystem in SL is the open FMOD library, see if other software listed on the FMOD site works. If not, your machine is not liking FMOD (which would kinda surprise me).
