`Every time I try to get on this thing virtual world it crashes. I have never been in it. I have no idea how this works. I have an account and a verified payment method. Help.

Check you got the right computer specs for secondlife.
What error exactly does it come up with? Or does it just crash and go to desktop? If so, at what point does it crash. You need more details.  |

If you haven't already, make sure you go to the Second Life Support site and file a ticket. They supposedly respond to serious issues like this within 24 hours.
