Can anyone tell me where the L$ go when you pay to join a group?

I have 2 groups and they both cost 25L to join and when people pay where does the money go? Any ideas?

I believe the money goes to the group's L$ account, on the group info dialog, on the tab labled "Land and L$".

but then where does it go from ther and who ends up receiving it?

It usually gets divided amounst the group owners, but sometimes depending how the "GROUP LIABILITY" option is set it could be split amounst the Officers or even Members too.

Yep, those members of the group who have a role with Group Liability checked, get a share of that money.

As soon as you are a member of the group you can look at the group information. First find the roles that have that special field checked, then look at the membership list of those role(s) and you get an idea, who got the money.

but i never got anything an im the owner of both groups and my partner is the other owner and he never received anything either. And also the other group members do not pay liabilities or receive dividends. So i confused as to where the Ls went. Accourding to our sales and liabilities we were supposed to get almost 2000L and nobody knows where it went and wouldnt it show in transaction history how much was paid?

Lyric, I just established a group for my store discounts, and not realizing the default setting was to pay and charge EVERYONE (the other thread is RIGHT, it's a dangerous default), the two people who joined with enrollment fee had their proceeds split among the five new members. I saw only 20% of the enrollment fee in that case. However, the liabilities and proceeds were distributed within 24 hours.

I've read other places that Tuesdays seem to be slow for L distribution in group owned land and group proceeds, and that often it also depends on your server capacity. I'm very new at this, though, so I'm hoping someone with more experience speaks up for my benefit as well as yours.

I havenoticed if you sell group land then it takes 24-48 hours for the money to be recieved by the groups eligible members.
