Can anyone explain to me how land traffic works in search,i always have people on my land, and during events i usually have 20 to 30 people everyday,my traffic has been as high as 29000 two weeks ago it is now 14000,the traffic if anything should be higher than 29000 my business has increased not decreased i dont understand how the search operates.I am losing way to much money paying campers during the day to try to keep my traffic up. Any help would be of great assistance. Thank you and Peace out Rhett...

This all may be well out of date. *shrug* But it is the best I've seen yet.
Traffic (also called dwell sometimes) is about the percentage of time someone spends on the parcel, not how much time they spend there. http://secondlife.wikia.com/index.php/Town_Hall_12/03/04 If they log on, spend an hour on your parcel, then log off for the day, you get all of their dwell. If they log on, spend an hour on your parcel, then TP away to camp for nine hours, you get 1/10 of their dwell. |
