I am having a hard time signing in. Everytime I try it goes as far as contacting region, then times out after a few minutes, I have deleted SL from my pc and reloaded it, and it still does the same thing. What do I do?

It could be where you are trying to log INTO...try this
Open your browser,
then enter:
secondlife://ahern/
That should take you to Ahern and perhaps a better chance at logging in...
