Is there a search engine or interactive map that I can enter X,Y coordinates to find where an area is located? Many thanks.

I'm not sure what you mean.
The in-world map does this. Open the map. Click anywhere. The coordinate box will state the name of the region and the coordinates within it, like "Zugspitze 200, 156, 35" Each region has its own internal Z,Y,Z coordinates in meters. There is no overall X/Y coordinate system for the Second Life Grid. The grid is simply made up of regions, each with its own name. This sort of makes sense, because a great deal of the map grid is actually nonexistent territory..."void" areas. If you put your cursor in such an area and click, you get "Invalid Location". These areas look like ocean, (both on the map, and when you look out over one from the edge of an adjoining region) but they are actually nothing at all. _____________________

Well, you don't really need Z if a location is on the ground. x and y will be enough to get you to the location, but if it's in the air, you'll have to fly up.
