I dont really know if the way I get "in world" is the proper way. When I sign in, from my account page I'll go to resident links, and click on either auctions or classifieds. Once it brings up the page, with auctions for instance, I will click on the lot being auctioned, and then click on Transport now. That gets me in and I just go from there. Here today though, no matter what I click on, while a description will come up, no kind of map pops up, so subsequently I have no way to get in world. This has happened with all my methods of getting in, and its pretty frustrating. Im sure its because I am not doing it correctly, so any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

do You have the game downloaded? or are You referring to the forums?

No, I have the game loaded, and have been playing now for almost 2 months. I am just trying to see how everyone else gets in world once they have signed in from resident log-in

This is sounding harder to het an answer for, than I thought

I go to the webite, and then I log in also. But now you are at the "account info screen. How do you get from there, to "in world", thats my question. When you log on, do you automatically go to the world? If thats the case then I did something wrong when I started, maybe I missed a step when setting up my account. And if I did skip a step, thats what I need to know. This is drivin me nuts, someone must understand my question!

Forget the website for a minute.
On your comptuer you will have an application called "SecondLife", just double click on it and then hit connect (assuming your username and password are in the boxes)

As much of brain fart as it may sound like, thats EXACTLY what I was doing wrong. Thank you so much, although I feel like a complete and total idiot, my Sl life just became much easier,,,thanks!!!
