What is Supportforhealing?

Supportforhealing is a group of people that believe that recovery from depression, emotional trauma and illness can be greatly enhanced by lovingkindness and friendship. We are not aligned to any religion and are believe in the equality of all people. We have two resources to help people - supportforhealing island in Second Life and our website, supportforhealing.com. Both resources are completely free and open to anyone who needs them 24/7.

New wildlife!

I'm pleased to announce that the island now has a community of birds (and owls which come out at night). You can see these at close quarters by buying birdseed from our dispensers ($1L) and putting down for the birds to feed on. Many thanks to Lauk for this wonderful system( visit her Island Svarga to see many wonderful products)
Film about SFH to be shown on UK TV

We have recently been interviewed for a film in the Second Lives series of short documentaries. This will be shown w/c 14th August on UK Channel 4. More details to follow......
Club Aqua Goes Underground!

Under the management of Nala Zaftig Club Aqua has found a new home in the cave system underneath the island. Kirstenlee Cinquetti and Nala are working hard to bring you the best in music and events all of which will be free for the enjoyment of island visitors and SFH members.

New Womens Group

We are pleased to announce a new Women's group which will meet twice weekly with Kat Thatcher hosting. The group will concentrate on gender specific issues relevent to Women and all RL women are welcome regardless of avatar gender. The group will meet at 11am on Sundays and 7pm Wednesdays
Dharma Talks at SFH
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Supportforhealing island has been hosting live audi Dharma talks by Bhante Kusaladharma at 1pm every Saturday in the Anxiety Support area. Whilst Bhante is away in Sri Lanka we will be broadcasting some recordings by His Holiness Dalai Lama XIV, everyone is welcome to come and listen.

SFH Wedding Area

Due to popular request we have opened up SFH for public weddings with it's own dedicated area. Please contact Luna Bliss to book one week in advance. There are some common-sense rules which must be followed but otherwise the area is available for use by groups and people sympathetic to our aims.
