So not only does it have nothing to do with mentoring (see the other "zomg... a mentor did..." threads), it doesn't even concern the official mentors.

Yes, it is, Florenze. Kitty, IMO it *does* impact on the mentors, whether or not a mentor ultimately turns out to be responsible.

Individuals infringe on content, not groups.

If a furry/human/kid/Canadian/blue-haired resident infringes, do you assume that all furry/human/kid/Canadian or blue-haired residents infringe on copyright, or that it matters at all that that resident happened to be a furry/human/kid/Canadian or is blue-haired? No, since that would be rather silly.

Slip "mentor" in the list of random facts about that person and it stays equally true, it doesn't mean anything.
