Manic Artist Needs Scripting Mentor

sorry if this is the wrong spot, but i dont see any forum to FIND mentors. ive heard some hang out at various places here or there, but i've never found any. so....

help type: scripting (some occasional prim editing, particles, and misc stuff)

i've taken two scripting classes, but... i think i could move forward faster if i learned what i wanted/needed at the time, and put it into works in progress. i have done scripting in neverwinter nights, so really all i need is someone to help me translate what i want to do into ll functions and routines. maybe help me debug things, or explain limitations or requirements of various things, etc. and mostly tell me that the crazy stuff i want to do is impossible. :)

potential mentors must be patient, have a sense of humor, and remain calm while a hyperactive artist has a manic episode.
