Is it possible that mentors can be given rights on HI to be able to clean up prims left there by new residents? I feel kinda helpless/useless standing next to a prim I know needs to be removed yet I have to request someone else come pick it up. Now we have new residents dropping off prims trying to sell things. KC

If something's marked for-sale, wrap it inside a piece of plywood, and mark it. I'm led to understand better litter-handling measures are in the pipe...I just don't know when they're due or quite what they will be.

Auto return wont be as good as you think.....if they do it how they did it with the Building tutorial and the Freebie store, Gov. Linden will take the land and it will be changed to the management group, disallowing mentors to rez items to be there permanently.

We have *finally* gotten all of Help Island to be set to auto-return, which means no more messy island :)

What is the time frame on auto return? I would hope it's not minutes... If I am teaching someone to build, I would hate for my project to return to inventory the minute I'm putting final touches on it. What a waste of time for sure. For either WA, 10 or 20 mins if fine, but for HI? That's just not enough time.
IMHO, Lindens should still survey HI for those loose end, rather than rely solely on auto return.

Being part of the problem is easy. Being a part of the solution is the tricky part.

I think it's at two hours - and it's all set to the mentor group so objects set to group won't dissapear.

[edit]I lie. It's not two hours, it's at 15 minutes.[/edit]

15 minutes everywhere on the island with two exceptions:
  1. 2 hours in the sandbox
  2. 30 minutes at the building tutorial area (west side)
