well, i dont realy know the best place to say this anymore, matly within the last few months i noticed it is starting to get alittle crazy and out of hand. i dont like to piss peaple off and i can understand instant "zomg! i need to reply" without thinking but. when i first join mentors in teen grid we had to agree to follow the rules that are setup and the same when i crossed over to MG about 6 months ago. i always get spammed by random comments in the group wile other peaple are trying to get help for peaple that are on OIs in the middle of the random cit chat. it dosent realy take a brain dr. to figure out that something is going to be hard to notice.
peaple always are saying just X out the dialog but by doing that you shut off all chat untill next restart or open it again wich if anyone needed any type of help the peaple that may know how to fix something wont know....
just tonight there were about 15-20 peaple asking about lag and peaple replying constantly for a good 10 minutes that there is lag and what could be the problem so i got fed up with it, it would be annoying ass hell to im all 15-20 peaple about the rule so i copyed what amber said about 1/2 half to hour ago and i get this comment from someone.
"Only VTeam Lindens will post reminders about the channel guidelines or alternative groups as needed. This is not a volunteer's responsibility in the Mentor channel. "... maybe you should actually read them yourself?
ok i can agree with that but. it was geting way out of hand, and i also got a few other
"You shouldn't be adding adding to the chat maybe you should read them also."
"Why are you talking in group then?"
im trying to do building and texturing wich i made my screen small enought that i can texture what im building maybe a good 500X600 screen and it is filling up wile im trying to do the stuff
i just thought i would vent out my annoyance at peaple not following rules....
EDIT: this was just a few minutes ago a good example of what peaple are having to do to do what they are doing
"**** ******** quietly closes all of the mentor group windows so she can see her screen"
