Jeska.... when are you going to make times for mentor meetings and inductions suitable for the 80% of the worlds players ingame that are Mentors? Tuesdays at 10am (6pm GMT, I'm barely home from work), and 6pm (2am GMT I'm alseep) and that doesn't account for all the other countries where Mentors reside? I have one hour on OI to do before being let out into the wild world of SL wearing my tag. As I have been a Greeter for over a year and my application accepted, after no doubt being vetted, do I have some form of Grandfather rights? Shall I now leave the Greeters Group as it no longer exists?

Jeska stopped handling the volunteer groups 12 months ago, and was succeeded by Pathfinder, who was succeeded by Blue.
Contact Blue Linden, George Linden or Amber Linden. There are meetings at more Euro-friendly times these days, if you count office hours that are devoted to volunteer issues.

Thanks for the reply.... would have been nice if a Linden had replied, especially one that has now taken the place of Jeska. I was asking the question as I was dropped a load of NC's ingame which included meeting time, OI induction etc all signed by Jeska. Guess they are usless as all the days and times were non-restoftheworld friendly

Old thread but you mentioned it in the other one, so . Stop by Blue during his office hours or leave him an IM. He's always nice and helpful and cares a lot about the volunteers . If you really can't make any of the "training" sessions, you could just ask to be teamed up with an established mentor and skip over everything that way. There really isn't all that much to know anyway . (Amber is still involved with the volunteers as well, and I *think* most of the training notices on the group come from George so you could give either of those a nudge as well if you can't get a hold of Blue for some reason)
