SL mentor/live help stealing money from merchant?

Bad enough as SL merchant, we been bombarded with customers complaints about their lost items due to SL. Now even worse for a live help volunteer abusing her privilege as a Live Help Volunteer to help or co-conspire with her "BEST FRIEND" to CON, or try to steal from merchants, no telling how many item they have stolen together..... As i question about her response to (a Resident's) claim, here are the completed chat :

This is a duplicate thread. Why are you spamming the forum with terms of service violations of your own?

Were you aware that naming names on the forum as well as posting chat logs is itself a violation of the TOS?

In any case, if you have an issue with another resident, no matter their affiliation, perhaps you should file an abuse report.

Standard practice when losing a non-copy item due to rez failure is to contact the merchant. Most are kind enough to replace the item, even though the fault is LL's. I really don't understand what the OP is trying to say here.

Wow, that person shouldn't be a mentor at all. And Linden Labs is responsible for their crappy software losing items, whether they are willing to admit it or not. Sad thing is, this person will probably get away with their behavior and continue to be a 'Mentor'. I'll be sure to pass this info along to other merchants I know.

I'm going to ask for a clarification on the TOS applications here, usually we just throw the Forum Guidelines at this situation; if the TOS is the appropriate tool in this type of situation I would like to better understand it's bounds and limitations.

The moderation done here was done within bounds of normality. I will look into the cross-posting and file the appropriate paperwork.

Oh yes, it is so easy to tell what is going one with a one sided story. Plus, live help isn't even around any more. People will want to be volunteers for many reasons. Some not for the good of the people they are trying to help. The goal is to get these people out as quick as possible once they are found.

But then again, that would go against your whole LL is the worst company ever theme...

Maybe there are people in Live Help or Second Life Mentor who abuse things, I haven't seen that really, but I think once that is brought up and considered by the Volunteer Group Lindens, those people won't be a part of things.

But Blue and the others do care, and I know many people don't join the volunteer groups just to get an extra tag above their head. There are lots of people who care about helping and do it because they enjoy it.

Its unfortunate, but lets do what we can to help, rather than just getting mad at a whole group.

Yes there is someone who is a mentor, and i believe they have many Alts besides. Just would love to know if anyone else may know this person) because it's about time they were taken out, and language they use is very abusive. And very immature besides

fact still stands ther is alot of issues in the group as itsalways has been. Funny part there are even new mentors that have beened banned and are resently back in the mentors reguardess of their past bannedment on sl. The rules state once banned for whatever reason you can never be a mentor again. but like everything else in the stupid game there are newly allowed mentor people that have been banned in the past and are in the group AGAIN. So to be frank, i not surprized about all topic issue at all...... Still issues and problems in the helpers groups.....

The worse part about this, is the lindens themselves nows this and is allowing it to occure. For the same greedy reasons..........Hence if you have things or services to give the game , No matter waht your background or benning banned countless times you get back in. Don`t you just love this double standard these days!

Can you provide anything to back that up? I mean, actual instances of this? I haven't heard of anyone "being banned countless times" and still getting back in just because they have a service to provide, though I have personally experienced many useless griefers "being banned countless times" and returning later using the same account.

So, do you have any factual evidence that people who "have things or services to give the game" are being treated better despite bad behavior?
