Jeska, I have a friend who has waited for over a month now to be accepted or rejected as a mentor. She feels there must be something wrong and that she won't be accepted. I tried to explain that it just sometimes takes a while. Can you update us on your status with mentor applications? Thanks!

It can take a few months to be accepted, it took me 2 months to become a mentor. Also last I heard was that the mentor group was on hold to sort out some issues, not sure if this is still the case though.

It took me 3 months to be accepted as a mentor. It will happen, just be patient and let your friend know. There are also several things going on in the Volunteer group that may delay the decision. Best of luck to your friend.
