As stated by Jeska Linden at the recent Mentor meeting, "We should decide in the forums when would be the best day/time for the monthly mentors meeting."
So here is the poll to help her get an idea when would be the best days and times.  Please select the days of the week and the times that you are pretty sure you would or could be free to attend a meeting. There will be 2 meetings on that date to accomidate as many people as possible around the world._____________________

My days are a bit random, but my times are definitely between noon and 3 pm. Anything later is starting after 11pm in Europe, which is too late for me here

Hmm, well that is too bad, i had no idea there was a mentors meeting, i didnt receive a notecard or anything. I visit Waterhead often to help with newbs, and i also help when a Linden ask for help for someone, does not feel to good to be left out.

99% of meetings are posted in the forums, and there are too many members to drop notecards on all of them, plus if you did several would complain of spam..

As far as I know, no one receieved an invite..
And checking the forums is like that with a lot of things, Linden Projects, Town Halls etc etc.. _____________________

Well, I didn't know there was a mentor forum or any meetings.
 As far as time, anytime after 1 AM SL time is good for me I don't usually make most linden-run events, they're always when I'm at work. |

Don't much worry about the day... but it has to be finished by about 10pm or 11pm my time for me to even consider it... (that's 2pm-3pm SL time).

I found out about the mentors meeting because this is one of the very few forums I subscribe too. Subscribing will get you an email advising you when a new thread is created or when an old one is updated.

Same here, one's in the early morning and the other while I'm at work.. I'll be reading the transcripts in the forum like I do with townhalls. Any international liaisons want to have an international mentor meeting?  |

Hm...sadly enough, I found out about these meetings from the notecard that was passed out regarding Help Island. I will definitely try to make it next time (and would have liked to come all along!).
Also, more mentors might show up if the entire group is IMed before the event or if some sort of reminder is sent out. The forums are great for discussion of things are aren't very time-sensitive. I for one try to read them, but both rl and sl get busy enough that I may not always get to it... Cheers! |
