How do I make money here?
Sheesh, how many times an hour do I hear that? Is there a ready-made URL? I've seen the article on the top SL page, but that is very vague.
I'm tired of typing the same words over and over again. And I've seen other Mentors do the same thing. Buy. Camp. Personal Services. Make something to sell. etc, etc, etc. I was starting to make a notecard about various ways to make money, but I'm wondering if that is even a good idea. (In my opinion, the purpose of SL is to have fun.)
Thoughts?

Have dropped 2 notecards on you, one is the "how do I make money" notecard.
The other is an index of a lot of commonly asked questions, with notecards inside that answer the question (clothes out of boxes etc). _____________________

I teach two classes on the subject at New Citizens Plaza: Making Money in SL 1: Basics Sunday 2pm Making Money in SL 2: Land Sunday 3pm Followed by "Land Q&A" class conducted by Toy Lafollette. You are welcome to send people that way. |

Maybe they think male and femal avatars are "objects" too?
 I'm not a mentor, but I do help a lot of newbies. Usually I tell them just to buy L$ if they need money. Most L$ jobs pay less then L$ 100 per hour (if even that), so I suggest to go and wash their neighbors car and use that money to buy L$  |
