Howdy folks,
I'd like to introduce Cheryl Wiggins (her SL name) to all you volunteers and educators. Cheryl is a doctoral student in the Educational Technology program at Pepperdine University. She is studying how educators can best use virtual environments to help students learn.
Cheryl is also going to be working with us at Linden Lab by helping us learn how to better support the work of all you volunteers. She's particularly interested in finding out better ways for volunteers to share what they know about SL with each other and collaborate more effectively.
So essentially...she's here to help you!
To kick things off, Cheryl will be scheduling some inworld meeting times to talk with different volunteer groups and generate ideas. Details will be posted in this thread shortly.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome!
I look forward to meeting and talking with you about how you share information with each other and any ideas you have that would help support your work as volunteers.
I've set up a few group meetings, trying to cover different time zones. We'll meet at the RL Education in SL Center (Waterhead 150, 14, 39). These are SL dates and times:
March 18th - 9:00am & 8:00pm SLT (greeters & mentors)
March 25th - 9:00am & 5:00pm SLT (greeters & mentors)
March 26th - 9:00am & 5:00pm SLT (instructors)
Hope you can attend one of these meetings, if not, feel free to IM me in-world or drop me a notecard with your ideas.
