Experinced with SL?

We could sure use you at GQ Start. We are a village created with newbies in mind .. we have a freebie store .. a classroom .. and very cheap housing. By very cheap i mean 5-10L a day .. half of which we give to new people. We also keep prims available for those who want to practice what they learn.

We are always looking for people to teach a beginner type class (newbies love to build) Or even a more experienced classes. In the works are discussion groups and organizing fun events.

Since we operate by sponsors, ad boards, and out of pocket .. we really can't afford to pay people what they are worth. But we do pay 100L a class .. and teachers use tip jars. Not a lot i know. I guess the real perk is when a new person says how much we helped them and returns every blue moon just to say hello. They don't forget. We have found .. the higher level classes do get much better tips .. because of course lots of new people have no money.

We also have Helpers in the village .. people who choose not to teach at this time .. but help with all kinds of problems .. from putting on hair .. to unpacking boxes .. to some builds.

Our village is not just a school .. we are a small community .. a odd family if you will. So if you are every out wandering around .. please just stop in to see us. If by chance no one is there ... please feel free to have a look around. And if you are inclined to know more or would be interested in teaching a class .. IM myself of Skit Qinan .. or fill out a application in the village.

I can vouch for GQ Start being a great bunch of people, a great service to the SL community, and a very satisfying place to work/teach/volunteer/hang out.

You can get a heck of a lot more done there in terms of instructing newcomers than at crowded, build-restricted, script-restricted places like OI Public or the Welcome Areas.
