Hello,
I would be willing to pitch in! Is there anything specific you you need me to do? Do I just talk to newbies and see if they need help? How does this work?

There are some things you should have on hand...

1. A notecard of useful phrases that you can cut and paste, to save typing the same thing five hundred times.

2. Some more notecards explaining some of the basics you'll be asked about. Like "how can I find a job?" "Where is the Sex?" "How do you play this game?" "How can I change my appearance?" Lucrezia Lamont has a good Newbie Kit...see her for a copy.

3. Some free things to give. Clothing, hair, shoes, a freebie hugger, translator, basic AO, flight feather...

4. Landmarks to helpful places. Freebie stores, some different types of clubs, scenic areas, schools.

5. A good translator of your own.

6. Lots of good humor and patience.
