Hi
I've search Resident Answers and couldnt find anything so posting here for help. I created a group before christmas but had to leave for a while. Upon my return, the group has been removed due to only one person in group. I'm now trying to re-create the group but its telling me the group already exists. In this situation, how long before the groups become available again? Or how do I get it back? All help, appreciated. Mak |

Yep that is the rules about groups.
Groups will be deleted by LL, when they only have one member. You need a second member in it to keep the group. It's only a few days that Linden allows groups with one member. Well, after that - your second problem - a group with the same name can not be created again. Though there might be a way to re-create it by some nice support team members, that would react on your support ticket, the easier way it so set up a new group with a slightly different name. Read here: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Group Disband a group You can not directly delete a group, but in case you ensure that the membercount of the group remains smaller than 2 for a timeframe of 48 hours, the group will be disbanded. You can ensure that by ejecting all current members of the group and setting the group to a closed group (so no new members join). Once your group is disbanded, there is no way to get it back and the name can't be taken again. _____________________
