I've just finished a plugin for hippoRENT that will offer automatic group invites to rental tenants. Not just a queueing of lists that you or a manager will need to add later, but the actual group invite. Upon invite you and up to 5 specified manager will receive an IM with the details. The system will also remove a tenant from the group at the termination of their lease if you choose that option.
