Arabian Table served for two “Jathom”

This is a new table inspired on the tasteful and delicious Arabian food, it has all the traditional, well known and most popular dishes, hot and cold, from appetizers to main dishes and desserts, combined with different drinks to enjoy them.
It has a fully served table with a display of all this dishes presented on beautiful Arabian plates and bowls, and the drinks are offered on Arabian jars and cups.
You may click on the fork or knife to get one to eat, or on any drink to get a glass of it.
You may also change animations just clicking on the seat of your chair, to be able to talk, eat or drink during dinner.
Main dishes, appetizers, hot and cold
• Two beautiful sculpted porcelain plates served with falafel, is a fried ball or patty made from spiced checkpeas and fava beans, on a bed of mixed salad.
• Ghuzi platter, roasted lamb on sticks with caramelized onions and red and green peppers, served with a salad of fresh vegetables
• Tabuleh salad, made with fresh parsley, mint,onions, tomatoes, crasked wheat and spices
• Kabsah, made of fried meat pieces on a bed of rice with spices and peppers
• Muttabal or baba ganoush, is a traditional middle Eastern food that is created cooking and smashing eggplant. The eggplant is later mixed with a variety of spices to create a consistence similar to hummus, and served as a side dish or dip with pita bread or chips.
• Hummous it’s a popular also dip or tread made from cooked, mashed chickpeas, blended with tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and garlic. It is a popular food throughout the Middle East.
• Couscous consists of spherical granules made by rolling and shaping moistened semolina wheat and then coating them with finely ground wheat flour. The finished grains are about 1 mm in diameter before cooking. Traditional couscous requires considerable preparation time and is usually steamed. In many places, a more processed quick-cook couscous is available and is particularly valued for its short preparation time.Couscous is traditionally served under a meat or vegetable stew. It can also be eaten alone flavoured or plain, warm or cold, as a dessert or a side dish.
Desserts
• Baklava (dessert) is a rich, sweet pastry made of layers of phyllo dough filled with chopped nuts and sweetened with syrup or honey, we served it with shipped cream.
• Bint as-Sahan a traditional Yemeni honey pie. In Yemen, on special occasions in the homes of the affluent, bint as-sahn is always served as a first course; at other times it is eaten during the meal. However, it makes an excellent dessert.
Drinks
• Ayran is very popular across the Middle East, especially in Turkey. It can be served with any meal, or just for a quick snack drink. Its made with cold water, yogurt and a touch of salt, refreshing and tasteful.
• Jellab is a very popular drink as well made from grape molasses and raisins mixed together and topped with pine nuts. Making jellab involves combining the pulp of raisins with some grape molasses, rose water and sugar then smoking the mixture. It´s a traditional welcome Lebanese drink as well.
