More than just a pretty face, these horses act and move like their Real Life counterparts. They twitch their ears, smoothly blink their eyes together, stamp their front leg and make a variety of horse noises (sound and animations may be adjusted or turned off as desired). In motion, they have separate animations for walking, trotting, galloping, jumping and rearing, all based upon actual studies of horses in motion.
Riding the horse is easy! Just use your arrow keys. To jump, press page up and see the horse spring onto its hind legs and leap. To rear up, press page down and your horse will nicker in excitement as it paws the air with its forelegs. (For the record, in SL we all ride as well as we dance. Our horses never throw anyone.)
At trot and gallop, the horse will kick up dust. Single prim sculpted leg construction ensures smooth animations, without the leg "falling apart" as multiprim legs often do.
Worn as an attachment, the horse's prims do not count against the parcel. You can mount and ride your horse in no build areas! You can even teleport with your horse.
*DUAL RIDER INCLUDED* This device allows you to take a friend for a ride on the back of your horse. They can sit either sidesaddle or astride as you wish. Walk, trot and gallop with that special someone

The rider animation allows your avatar to turn its head and react as normal with nods, etc whilst chatting. When riding, your avatar will look where the horse is going.
Flexible tail flows in the wind and swishes as you and your horse turn and ride about.
The horse is copyable and modifiable (it will show as no-mod in inventory because the scripts are no mod). Full instructions are included. Make your horse larger or smaller, tint the mane, add a bow, or anything else you wish. Rider height is easily adjustable via the drop down menu.
A "Cavalry HUD" designed by Professor Alfonso Avalanche is available at the Carriage house (see SLURL below), allowing for lance, sword, pistol, rifle and pennant use on horseback. Weapons included, or you can use your own.
This is tremendously silly, but the horses can talk, if you wish. This was Miss Terry Lightfoot's idea, so if you think it's absurd, IM her about it.
HippoUpdate server enabled, meaning that you will automatically receive any future updates to the Cheval Verite line for FREE.
Despite the number of options available, the Cheval Verite horses are scripted with ease of use and minimal lag impact in mind. All functions are easily accessible via a drop down menu, and the help menu includes the owner manual and troubleshooting guide. While no scripted object (or anything else!) in SL will be immune to lag, testing of this script has proven it to be reliable under all but the laggiest conditions. Sim impact is roughly equivalent to a standard animation override, and under high lag conditions the animations are turned off and the timer reduced, restarting automatically when the lag diminished (this function can be turned off if desired).
