On IMVU there is a public forum for buying and selling textures. I recommend that many creators watch this forum. Many IMVU users have been found stealing skins and textures from SL and reselling them in their PACR (Product and Content Requests) forum. I wish it was easy enough to report these people to the original owner but it is impossible to remember every store location and owners name.
If you find your files stolen you can either contact IMVU (no direct email is given) or the reseller.
